Whiz Kidz
A fun, inclusive community where kids (and families!) thrive through sport
Ages 5–12 | Family-friendly | 100% Free to Join
Whiz Kidz is Rebound WA’s flagship program for children aged 5 to 12 living with physical disabilities. It’s a place where kids get moving, try new things, make friends, and grow in confidence — all while having fun in a safe, welcoming environment.
But here’s the best part: Whiz Kidz is for the whole family!
With specialised adaptive equipment available for parents and siblings, everyone can take part and play together on an even playing field.
What Whiz Kidz Offers:
Free participation – no cost to join!
Inclusive fun for all – siblings and parents are encouraged to get involved
Expert coaching & friendly staff
A wide range of adapted sports and games
A safe, encouraging environment that builds confidence, skills, and friendships
Locations & Times
Whiz Kidz runs across four terms each year, with sessions held on Saturday mornings in two convenient locations:
North of the River – Mirrabooka
South of the River – Murdoch
Choose the location that suits your family — or attend both! Every session is designed to be accessible, inclusive, and most importantly, fun.
What Activities Can Kids Try?
Every term offers a new mix of exciting, accessible sports and recreational activities, such as:
Wheelchair AFL

Whether your child is trying a sport for the first time or already active, Whiz Kidz gives them the chance to explore, develop, and discover what they love.
Powered by Rebound WA & The WA Government
Rebound WA has been championing inclusive sport and recreation for over 60 years. Programs like Whiz Kidz are grounded in our belief that every child deserves the chance to play, belong, and thrive and that includes the whole family.
The Whiz Kidz program is only possible thanks to the support of the WA Government.
