Frame Running - Run For Fun

Activities: This six week program will introduce your child to the joy of running and games that can be played while running.  Your child will learn how to use a frame safely and how to stop, start and steer a frame.
Our expert volunteers will continue to expand the children;s abilities and confidence with a range of fun and interactive activities!

Who: Kids with a physical disability, aged 2 – 7

Where: Stirling Leisure – Mirrabooka 6061 (38 Ashbury Crescent) – Outdoor Court 1 (same venue, just a changed name)

When: Saturdays 9.30am to 10.30am commencing August 9th, skipping August 16th, but then running through to September 20th

Equipment: Frame Runners are strictly limited in size and quantity – get in quick to secure a place! Participants borrowing equipment will be able to use it for the duration of the program including between sessions. Participants who have their own equipment are also welcome. All participants will be required to supply a bicycle helmet for their child to wear during the program.

Outdoor activity: This program is run outdoors on the centres external basketball courts. Please ensure children are dressed approximately to be sun smart, or stay warm, as needed. On hot days, with the program running early, we should beat most of the heat however there is shade and seating available on the court.

Due to the bitumen surface of the outdoor court helmets will be absolutely compulsory however Noula and Lynn will assist with any children who have an aversion, to help build their tolerance and get them participating!
