Rebound WA offers schools, community and corporate groups a fun and interactive disability education & awareness experience called Wheel LIFE.
Wheel LIFE is designed to motivate and educate participants by giving them a practical understanding of what it is like to live with physical disability. In addition to gaining a more inclusive outlook, we also show how being active leads to a healthier life.
The program is extremely flexible and can be adapted to suit your needs. A standard Wheel LIFE program will provide:
- an introductory talk by a wheelchair athlete;
- time to learn the basic skills needed to play wheelchair basketball; and
- a supervised game of wheelchair basketball.
Wheel LIFE can be conducted at the Herb Graham Centre in Mirrabooka, where we have fantastic facilities including wheelchair accessible toilets, showering facilities, a cafe, conference rooms and elevated seating. Alternatively we can bring the program to you – provided you have a suitable playing surface. For more information check out the Disability Awareness brochure below:

Wheelchair Challenge
Rebound WA is a charitable association and we rely on the generous support of the Western Australian community to continue our work. Anyone or any organisation can support us by tackling the Wheelchair Challenge where we challenge you to spend just one day in a wheelchair. This activity provides you with an opportunity to have first-hand experience of what life is like in a wheelchair while raising funds via donation or sponsorship and is a truly unique way to raise awareness.
To talk to us about how you or your organisation can participate in the Wheelchair Challenge or Wheel LIFE or to make a booking please contact us.
